Our Custom American Apparel Women’s 50/50 T-Shirt (Style BB301W) is one of our 3 top women’s styles because of it’s fit, fabric & price point. Featuring a slim fit, tailored sleeves & slightly wider neckline the only comparable shirt is the more expensive 50/25/25 option, but it’s über soft 50/50 Cotton & Polyester fabric and mid price point make this t-shirt the perfect option for large groups that will wear & re-wear the shirt over the course of many machine washes, without worry of shrinking, warping or it’s fabric pilling. We have a few other cotton/poly blend women’s shirts on our site, but this one gets the slight edge in our minds as it has a noticeably softer hand, despite a very similar fabric composition to the other options.
The Printing
Because of the super soft hand to this shirt, we recommend Vintage Ink as the best way to go for the American Apparel Women’s 50/50 T-Shirt. Soft fabrics + soft inks = happy Foxtrot Custom customers! The American Apparel women’s line tends to really focus a bit more on the looser neckline compared to options from Bella + Canvas, Next Level, and others. We think it’s a great style feature, and hope you do too. The lower cut on that neckline does often alter the recommended starting point for artwork, so don’t be surprised if your Foxtrot Custom rep recommends starting the print as close as 1″ below the collar seam.
