Overview

The Bella + Canvas Youth T-Shirt (Style 3001Y) is made of soft 4.2oz. 100% Ringspun Cotton fabric and features a slim fitting, tailored side seam and slightly higher sleeves than other youth t-shirts. Also available in companion Unisex and Women’s cuts (Canvas 3001 and Bella 6004), this is a great t-shirt for larger group orders where you need a full range of  t-shirt sizes and want to maintain the same color and fabric through all shirts. Keep in mind that youth shirts are typically not manufactured in the entire color selection that companion adult / unisex styles are. So, it’s often best to start with the youth t-shirt option to pick your color and work from there.

The Printing

Note on Youth Apparel Styles: We are required by law to register every youth garment we print with the government in compliance with 2008 CPSIA regulations. This requires us to print the individual registration on each garment, and is treated like a second print location. This additional print cost is already built into the price per shirt, which is why you’d find that youth apparel is more expensive than many unisex styles on our site. “Adult” garments include one print location and ink color, and Youth garments include two print locations (one ink color each).

Either Standard or Vintage Ink work wonderfully for the Bella + Canvas Youth T-Shirt. With it being a 100% Ringspun Cotton shirt, the solid colors and heavier fabric (compared to a blended fabric) allow Standard Ink to hold really well. Vintage Ink is always an option (honestly, always), so it’s really a matter of preference on your order with this shirt. The smaller youth shirt size does restrict the maximum width we can print across the front to 9″ wide, but typically that’s not a major hangup for most orders.
