“I only need one or two custom t-shirts… is that something you can help me with?”
The best printing method for one or two pieces is Direct-to-Garment Printing (Digital Screen Printing), which is basically a photo-copied type of printing that is great for short-run quantities. While the print is often still good quality, depending on the fabric and ink color, the logo may not be as vibrant as with standard screen printed apparel… and this is not something we offer, but…
While we specialize in large quantity orders of Soft, Custom Screen Printed T-Shirts, we still get a lot of people asking if we can print on only one or two pieces. While we want to help each and every person that calls/contacts us, we realize that our screen printing method is not very cost-effective for quantities below 25 pieces.
Saying that, we still want to be able to help you get what you want… so while we don’t have a preferred printer to send you to, here are 4 quick things to consider as you look for the right printer to help you with one or two custom printed t-shirts:
4 Steps to Ordering One or Two T-Shirts
- Save your image in the right format: (as either an AI, PSD, JPG, PNG or EPS) Save it to the size that you will want it printed. If you are creating the image from scratch, begin by making the canvas size in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop to the size that you will want the entire image printed.
- Google to find a Printer: Search for “custom digital printing” or “custom digital printing in _______ (your city & state),” “custom t-shirt digital printing” or “custom t-shirt digital printing in _______ (your city & state),”
- Do the right research and determine which company is right for you… one that can offer you both the best price, quality and and customer care… along with confirming that you can get your custom, digitally printed t-shirt on-time (since this type of order typically requires a faster turnaround time)
- Order one or two digitally printed t-shirts, and please keep us in mind for future orders if you need more than 25 t-shirts so we can screen print your t-shirts for a higher quality, longer lasting print.
Although we might not be able to print for you on this one or two piece order, please let us know if we can help you on larger orders in the future!
