Over the past few weeks we’ve been getting a ton of orders for custom screen printed American Apparel Triblend 50/25/25 t-shirt.
Made of 50% Cotton, 25% Polyester and 25% Rayon, the Custom American Apparel Triblend is the softest t-shirt around and it only gets better with time as you wash it. The Triblend shirt also has a more modern tailored fit that most t-shirts on the market, which makes it very appealing for our collegiate customers.
Question: How do you make this shirt even better?
Answer: Adding your own custom screen printed logo… but not just any logo… the right logo.
Here are 2 things that can help you turn this amazing t-shirt into an even greater shirt (you will never want to take it off!)
- Forget thick ink… go with our Vintage Ink Process. The standard ink is fine for a standard shirt, but when you order just tell your Coed Monkey Order Representative that you want the Vintage Ink Process and we’ll apply a thinner coat of ink that will compliment the thinner, more vintage style of this shirt… now be warned, since the ink will be thinner, some of the t-shirt color will come through the ink… but don’t worry, this looks very cool and some of the best color combos are the Athletic Grey shirt with a vintage White ink, or a Tri-Coffee shirt and Vintage Cream ink. Just use a darker colored shirt with a lighter colored shirt and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the outcome… and you might have people offering to buy the shirt right off of your back.
- Tone on Toning. This has become a lost art, but if done correctly, this can take an average logo and turn it into an incredible logo. To do this, take the Athletic Blue t-shirt and use an ink that is two shades darker than the shirt color and you will be amazed how cool this will look! To be most effective with this form of printing, we’d suggest just doing a one color print, but if you must do two colors, the 2nd color should not be a variation of the tone on tone color… try something else like a bold white (you can do either our standard or vintage ink process).
Well, there you have it… and even if you never add any logo to your American Apparel Triblend 50/25/25 t-shirt you can be sure that it will be your favorite shirt… imagine if you put a cool logo on it.
